FLO Screens for Varia FLO Dripper

Varia’s FLO Dripper is compatible with a range of swappable flow screens, each of which changes the flow rate and patter during an extraction and leads to different flavor profiles in brewed coffee. We offer both new screens to allow for further experimentation with your FLO Dripper as well as replacements for the stock screens that are included by Varia.

New Screens

Fast 1
The Fast 1 screen is designed to achieve balance, producing blended flavors that are simultaneously complex and satisfying. It delivers a medium acidity, light body, and impressive clarity. 

Slow 2
The Slow 2 screen delivers rich, chocolatey brews with big body and mellow acidity.  It’s a great option for those who appreciate a smooth, well-rounded cup.

Replacement Screens

Medium 1 (Included with FLO Dripper)
The Medium 1 screen reduces bitterness so that sweetness and acidity can shine. It gives a clean and crisp cup for a refreshing brew. 

Slow 1 (Included with FLO Dripper)
The Slow 1 screen produces a pronounced body and a balanced profile that excels at coaxing acidity from naturally low-acid coffees, though it’s also quite versatile.
